DataPaks -- GIS Ready-to-Use Shapefiles with Integrated Subject Matter DataPaks are sets of political/statistical and other geographic object shapefiles with integrated subject matter. DataPaks include ready-to-use CommunityViewer (CV) GIS project files. For users with specific or broader ready-to-use integrated multi-dimensional shapefiles with wide-ranging subject matter, Proximity also provides DMIProjects and CV Databases. DataPaks may be used with any software capable of using shapefiles. DataPaks do not require use of CommunityViewer. Terms and Delivery. Files included in the DataPaks are licensed for your perpetual use. DataPak files, nor parts of files, may be transferred to others or distributed without written authorization. A Site License applies where the DataPak is installed on more than one computer (up to 5), used by more than one person (up to 5), or made available for interactive use via a network (such as an Internet Webserver). Where possible DataPaks are delivered electronically. DataPaks are available on CD-ROM/DVD. Shipping or electronic delivery is included in the price. Updates. DataPaks are updated annually or more frequently. The annual update license fee is 80-percent of the then current base year price. DataPak P.1 -- U.S. Places/Incorporated Cities 2006 The U.S. Places/Incorporated Cities shapefile set is comprised of state-by-state "maximum detail vertices" polygon shapefiles. Boundaries for places are as of January 1, 2006.
