For best results, it is important that the ranking table Webpage be viewed using Internet Explorer. About these data. School districts with more than 2,500 enrollment (2004-05) are included in the ranking table (3,926 school districts of the total 14,427 districts). These data were developed based on data as of the 2004-05 school year, becoming available for all school districts in September 2006. The next update is expected in the summer 2007. The size of the ranking table results in the sorting process to require a few minutes. Please wait. Header names and description StCty -- State and County FIPS code where district address is located. StDist -- State FIPS code followed by Federal district code (5 characters). CBSA code -- Core Based Statistical Area code Schls -- number of schools in the 2004-05 school year Enrl -- enrollment in the 2004-05 school year EnrlRank -- rank based on enrollment in the 2004-05 school year, descending order Grades -- grade range (2004-05 school year) $/Std -- current expenditures per student (FY 2003) More detailed data, and data organized in different ways, are available from Proximity.
