Topics: MetroDynamics Quarterly Economic Updates Ranking Tables Main Page Congressional Districts Ranking Tables Extended/Updated MetroDynamics Quarterly Economic Updates MetroDynamics (MD -- http://proximityone.com/md.htm) has been updated with the detailed (subject matter data by maximum detailed NAICS category) 2007Q2 quarterly establishments, employment, and earnings (EEE) data based on employer reported data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics ES-202 program. See http://proximityone.com/md1.htm for a description of subject matter included in MD. MD provides quarterly time series EEE data from 2004Q1 forward, now making a 14 quarter series. Use the optional MD feature to estimate data suppressed data and use continuous quarterly measurements in your analyses. EEE-HI Database. Use the new supplementary U.S. by county "high level industry" EEE data (EEE-HL) for visual and tabular analysis. This newly available, supplementary, file can be used with CommunityViewer software to create maps and examine county/metro composition and change. Ranking Tables Main Page Both the scope and popularity of Proximity ranking tables have increased over the past year leading to the evolvement of the ranking tables main page, http://proximityone.com/rankingtables.htm. At the same time, individual ranking tables now make use of a more standardized structure. Proximity ranking tables now cover a wide range of types of geographies (e.g., places, MSA, school districts, etc.), variation in scope of geographic areas (e.g., state, national, etc.), and diverse set of demographic and economic measures. An important usage feature of the ranking tables is their interactive operation ... click on any column and rank on that selected item ... click on the same column/item again and rank in the other direction. Congressional Districts Ranking Tables Extended/Updated Based on the 109th Congressional District boundaries, and demographics as of 2006, the California 25th CD had the largest percentage school age children among all congressional districts and the California 8th had the smallest percentage school age children. Use the congressional district ranking tables to examine rankings and subject matter of interest to you. Congressional District ranking tables now include the following: 110th Congressional District Census 2000 Demographics 109th Congressional District 2006 Demographics 109th Congressional District Census 2000 Demographics 109th CD boundaries differ from 110th CD boundaries only in Georgia and Texas. 2006 demographics only available for 109th CD boundaries. 2007 demographics for the 110th CDs will become available in September 2008. The 110th CD boundaries that changed from the 109th (GA and TX) will be covered in the 2007 American Community Survey tabulations.
