Open this documentation file with notepad.exe, for example, with "wordwrap on" to more conveniently view text trailing beyond screen width. Turn wordwrap off to more easily view field descriptions/layout sequence.

The data file is structured for use as a dBASE III or IV file using software of preference. For mapping applications making use of ArcView, follow these steps.

> Copy the shape file set 15003hs.* to folder c:\himaps
> Copy file 15003hd2.dbf to c:\himaps\15003hs.dbf (overcopy existing)
> Start ArcView and click new view
> Add theme c:\himaps\15003hs.shp
> Click on checkbox to show theme
> DblClick on color property box (under name 15003hs.shp)
> On Legend Editor panel, change Legend Type to Graduated Color
> On Legend Editor panel, change Classification Field to Flunchp
> On Legend Editor panel, click Apply and close panel.

Thematic map now appears.  Use any of the other relevant field shown below.
