Quarterly Updates. The year-plus ahead quarterly MD and S&O updates and meetings are summarized below.

MetroDynamics - Situation & Outlook Quarterly Update. The MD-S&O quarterly update is scheduled generally for the first Monday in February, May, August and November. This schedule enables integration of the most recent BLS quarterly census of employment and wages. The update is comprehensive for all MD-S&O features. This includes updates to software, downloadable MD and S&O data, and online interactive access to MD and S&O data. Data include estimates through the most recent quarter, updated demographic-economic quarterly projections 12 quarters ahead and updated demographic-economic annual projections through 2020. The MD-S&O quarterly meeting is generally scheduled for the second Thursday-Friday following the most recent MD-S&O update in Scottsdale, AZ. The meeting provides an opportunity for face-to-face dialog with MD-S&O developers and other users. Learn what works for others. The computer hands-on format combines a technology learning format and an interactive framework to learn about the current situation and what's ahead for any/all counties/regions, metros, states and the U.S. Day 1 is focused on MetroDynamics in both downloadable and online formats. Learn about how MD modeling has been used to develop the multi-scenario current estimates and projections. Learn about model specifications, assumptions, estimation projection methods. Day 2 is focused on Situation & Outlook in both downloadable and online formats. Compared to Day1, Day 2 is more focused on assessment of the current situation and what's ahead -- what is changing where, by how much, when, and with what impact.
