Census 2000 Geodemographic Information Resources and
School System Leadership. This paper (in PDF format) describes the Census 2000 demographic and geographic data
resources in the context of usage for school system leadership applications.
The paper also presented a suggested definition for "suburban school districts,"
in a manner that provides geographic concordance with other Census 2000
geographic area definitions. The paper also reviews use of geodemographic
data in the broader context school leadership data driven decisionmaking.
