Open ...

The File>Open feature is used to open a CVGIS Project, shapefile or coverage.

As shown in the following graphic, the File>Open may be used to File>Open>Dialog (open a file using and OpenDialog) or File>Open>Favorites (open a file by selecting from a list of files).

The File>Open>Favorites opens a form as illustrated below.  The Favorites file is populated by the CVGIS installer.  The list of projects, shapefiles or coverages are provided as a part of CVGIS.  More information about each of these projects/coverages is provided in the CVGIS Projects section.

To use a project or coverage listed in the Favorites form, dbl-click a selection and it copied to the "Selected" edit box.  Click the "Go" button to open the project or coverage.
