This section shows how to modify a map view appearance. New settings are changed permanently by saving the GIS project to the same or new name. GIS projects are an essential element of GIS applications as they enable near instant recall of settings that can take a long while to develop.
Requirements: CVGIS Level 1 or higher.
Example 1.
Start CVGIS using the default GIS project.
Appearance modification -- zoom view
create a zoom-in to a region inside the Dallas metro.
select View>Zoom Mode (by Window) -- mouse/cursor now in zoom mode.
Appearance modification -- layer settings
Appearance modification -- layer editor
Example 2.
In the Make a Reference Map section, two new shapefiles were added. These shapefiles were saved creating a new project.
This completes this tutorial.
