Situation & Outlook -- Estimates & Projections

 

Update on July 2012 Estimates and Projections Release.  We are now working on development of four sets of synchronized demographic-economic estimates and projections as summarized below.  Some of the summary data will be available in national scope ranking tables (http://proximityone.com/rankingtables.htm).  The total set of data will be available in a modular structure and downloadable by subscribers.  An intermediate selection of more detailed data will be available online, interactively.  All data have a time series orientation (as opposed to static cross-sectional point in time).  The links provided below are largely data layouts and provide information on the scope of subject matter and geography.

 

1 -- 50 year (2010-2060) national and state demographic estimates and projections

2 -- 20 year (2010-2030) national, state, metro, county demographic-economic estimates and projections

... these data go to the metro and county levels whereas the 50 year projections are state and national only

... more information -- Outlook 2030 - annual - county, metro, state, U.S. - updated annually

 

3 -- 5-year (2008-2018), national, state, metro, county, census tract demographic-economic estimates and projections

... these data cover a wider range of subject matter than the 20 or 50 year projections
