Demographic Profile Database
The Proximity census block level demographic database
has now been expanded to include a wide range of richer demographic data
for block group and higher level geographic areas.
The Proximity Census Data Integrator (CDI) software
now includes a feature enabling you to download freely available
Census 2000 demographic profile data ... and integrate these
CSV formatted data into a dbase file. The resulting dbase file
may be used directly with any software having the ability to process
dbase files.
The CDI generated demographic profile database can also be automatically
integrated with shapefile dbfs using the Proximity Cen2Shp
software enabling you to immediately prepare thematic maps using this new rich
set of demographic data.
