About Table PCT12
The term "table" as used in this document refers to tables of data as organized in the decennial census and American Community Survey summary files. A table is a set of one of more data items (e.g., population of age 1) with summary data tabulated for one or more geographic areas.
"PCT" is a table reference abbreviation for population tables that include tabulations for geographies "down to" the census tract level. PCT table data are available for tracts, cities/places, ZIP code tabulation areas, school districts, congressional districts, legislative districts, counties, metros, states ... among others.
