M2 may be installed on any Windows-based computer.  There are no hardware or software dependencies other than Internet for some applications.  Even Internet is not a strict requirement.

 

To install the public use M2 Level 1 version, run the M2 setup http://proximityone.com/m2/m2_setup.exe.
Use default installation folder c:\m2.

 

The setup includes:

1.S&O Modeler II software and related files.
2.Ready to use (File>Open) Hawaii counties and census tracts (hitracts.dbf).
3.Ready to use (File>Open) Kansas counties and school districts (ks_sd_cty.dbf).
4.Ready to use (File>Open) California unified school districts (causd.dbf).
5.FactFinder2 downloaded "DEC*" PCT12 raw data.

 -- optionally can be used with File>Create to replicate process of generating hitracts.dbf (item 2)
