Benefits

ProximityOne Enterprise provides a unique resource enabling you to integrate/analyze your data with data from these programs.  Without ProximityOne Enterprise you would need to extract required data from these separate programs, which is error prone and often involves great expense, elapsed time, specialists, and redundancy.  Then, you still need to integrate those data with your data.  Data integration can often be much easier once all of the relevant data are server accessible.

How the Program Works

Web User/Subscribers. Individual users may subscribe to ProximityOne Enterprise as a Web-based service.  All that is required is Internet access and a subscriber account.
Server Program Component Subscribers. Organizations may subscribe to the ProximityOne Enterprise Server Program, install ProximityOne Enterprise on the subscriber organization server(s) and enable access by all levels/users within the organization. This program enables the organization to empower their users to develop their own applications and house these data on their server(s).  Authorized users can then access data and use features similar to those of the Web User/Subscribers, plus you have the ability to integrate your organization's data.  You can limit or extend data access and use features provided for Web User/Subscribers that might fit special application requirements.

ProximityOne Enterprise Components

Subscribers to the ProximityOne Enterprise Server Program receive national scope data described above structured for use with the resources described below. ProximityOne Enterprise licensing ranges from a single user license and desktop operation to a site license for a global organization with a mixture of desktop and Web-based operations used by multiple departments, agencies and/or physical locations.

ProximityOne Enterprise Server

The ProximityOne Enterprise Server contains business, demographic and economic subject matter data and geographic data.  Download continuously updated data from the Proximity master server and use the ProximityOne Enterprise Windows Loader software to load the data onto your Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL Server.  Use the ProximityOne Enterprise Windows applications software to support query, statistical analysis and modeling, report generation, data extraction and data integration.

Easily interface your internal data or third-party data with these wide-ranging demographics.

Enterprise Server can be used independently or in combination with other ProximityOne Enterprise resources.

Enterprise Server is scalable by scope of subject matter, statistical program and geography.

ProximityOne Internet Map Server

The ProximityOne Internet Map Server (IMS) is an ASP.NET server for fully web-based GIS mapping and geospatial analysis solutions.  ProximityOne IMS utilizes the visual design capabilities of ASP.NET (.Net Framework 2) compatible programming tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2005, and CodeGear Delphi, but can also be programmed with any standard HTML or text editor.  IMS incorporates spatial data stored in SQL server database formats as well as GIS/CAD industry standard vector and raster image formats.  IMS supports an Adobe Flash client control for smooth on-line map dragging, zooming, and editing. Each on-line user can turn the Flash control on/off.

Users can map and/or geospatially analyze all subject matter and geographic data housed in the Enterprise Server.

IMS can be used independently or in combination with other ProximityOne Enterprise resources.

IMS is scalable by scope of subject matter, statistical program and geography.

ProximityOne CommunityViewer GIS

The ProximityOne CommunityViewer Server Edition (SE) is a scalable client/server desktop application having operational features similar to the CommunityViewer GIS combined with data access features similar to the Census Bureau FactFinder service augmented with data integration and analytical features.

CommunityViewer GIS SE can be used by a single user where the Enterprise Server is located on the user desktop.

CommunityViewer GIS SE can also be used by many users in an organization where the Enterprise Server is configured as a sharable server.

CommunityViewer GIS for Windows desktop applications is available for users who prefer not to use the Enterprise Server.  Web User/Subscribers may download subject matter and shapefiles for desktop applications using either CommunityViewer GIS or CommunityViewer GIS SE.
