Zoom in

Click the + button once to zoom in.

 

Find a high school district based on an address or location

The start-up "active layer" is "CCSD SAZ HS" -- high school attendance zones.

When you search for an address or location, the view zooms that high school attendance zone.

Enter "4601 W Bonanza Rd, 89107" in the search bar and press enter (no quotes, not case sensitive).

.. the view zooms to the related HS SAZ and places a blue triangle at the location.

.. characteristics of this HS SAZ are shown in the lower left panel.

Try an address/location of interest.

 

Add a Layer (Schools) to the View

Show all public schools as markers by checking on the "K12 Schl 22-23" layer in the legend panel at left.

.. click a school marker. Characteristics of the school are shown in the lower left panel.

Examine Neighborhood Demographics

In the legend panel at left, scroll to the "Tracts ACS22 $MHI" and check the layer on; click + to show layer color/value settings.

.. click a tract (colored area).

.. the demographic-economic attributes of the tract show in the lower left panel.
