Olmsted County, MN Demographic Characteristics & Trends
-- an information resource developed by ProximityOne Regional Demographic-Economic Modeling System (RDEMS)

Knowing about demographic characteristics of an area and how they are changing are essential for effective planning and decision-making. The table presented below provides annual data (2010 to 2015) for this area on the population and trends by components of change .. race/origin .. 5-year age groups .. single year of age .. special age groups. The selected age group summaries at the bottom of the table correspond to age group universes used in the American Community Survey (ACS2014) tables.

The table includes the population by single year of age (0, 1, 2, ... 84, 85 up) by year. Single year of age data might be of less intrinsic interest than having the ability to analyze custom combinations of age groups. Optionally open this page using Excel to perform computations and develop graphics.

Use data presented in the table to develop insights into how the population is changing. Learn more about the structure and use of these data and assessing alternative scenario projections and future change in the RDEMS Web section.
