About the Integrated Data Profile ... scroll section
The Integrated Data Profile (IDP) presented in this section is generated by the CV XE APIGateway. The APIGateway is a feature of the ProximityOne CV XE software. The no-fee, no registration version of the CV XE software can be used to generate the Integrated Data Profile (IDP) for any county in the U.S.

This is not a one-time, static profile. CV XE uses API (Application Programming Interface) technology to dynamic fetch data updates and make them available to newly generated profiles. Data presented in the profile vary by time dimension, including decennial, annual, quarterly and monthly. Presently the IDP content refreshes/updates monthly.

Unique Features & Benefits of Use
1. A first benefit is the frequency and method of update. The data are always providing access to the most recent data available. The commercial version provides more current estimates and projections.
2. Comparing subject matter over time. In many cases the subject matter are presented as a time series. Decennial data start with Census 2000. Compare change between 2000 and 2010. Annual data start with American Community Survey 2010 (ACS 5-year estimates) and include ACS 2011 and ACS 2012. The ACS annual data update in December 2014. These longitudinal measures enable the side-by-side comparison of measures from different sources. They give insights not only change and level, but how different sources convey similar information.
3. Composite Demographic Economic Picture. Data selections have been included that reflect popular and more widely used measures to examine characteristics of the population, housing and economy.
4. Type of Industry Drill-Down. When using the APIGateway, you can select the type of industry (e.g. total, information services, financial activities, etc.)
5. Optional Graphics. Links provided for some items enable automatic display of the data in chart format.

Scope of Data
The no-fee version of the APIGateway IDP includes multi-sourced data from the Census Bureau, Bureau of Economic Analysis, and Bureau of Labor Statistics. The data are sourced from multiple programs within these agencies. Additional data sources are being added and data items.

Terms of Use
The data in the profiles may be used for any purpose. The profiles may not be redistributed without written authorization. Links to the profiles that are posted on the ProximityOne website are encouraged. There is no warranty with regard to any aspect of the profile or content. The user is solely responsible for any use made of the software, profile or data.
