selected subject matter merged into shapefiles (geography)
parts of each of subject matter integrated into CD & CC shapefiles

Comparative Demographic Analytics - DA1
Compares two or more areas, such as CC 51-08-005 with CD 51-08 using the Census 2020 DP1
Demographic Analysis provides an ability to compare a CC to a CD using the Census 2020 DP1
  • Tabular Report
  • Narratve Report
For example, the narrative report tells us that the dependency ratio in 2020 was 28.27 for CC VA 08005 compared to 50.38 for CD118 VA 08 -- both compared 63.6 for the U.S. overall. Read the narrative report to see why this can be important to our CC.

Comparative Demographic Analytics - DA2
Compare two areas, such as CC 51-08-005 with CD 51-08, using the ACS Data
Demographic Analysis 2 compares a CC to a CD using annual ACS data (ACS 2024).
Provides extensive graphics.
  • Narrative Report CC 5108005 (501) ... CD VA 08 (500) ACS 5-year

ChartGraphics & Population Pyramids
ChartGraphics is used to develop a population pyramid for CCs, CDs and other geography.
ChartGraphics is a tool for visualizing population distribution by gender and age for an area.
Compare Census 2020 CC files and ACS 2024 CD files for use with ChartGraphics.

Users may develop their own files.
