Census tracts are used as proxies for neighborhoods, averaging 4,000 population and covering the U.S. wall-to-wall.

About the Data/Subject Matter .. goto top
Data for each neighborhood include population by age and race/origin, citizen voting age population, foreign born population, schools (number, attributes), financial institutions (number, attributes) hospitals and other institutions, housing characteristics, housing occupancy, value and rent, income measures, income inequality, poverty, educational attainment, school enrollment, employment characteristics, among others.
