ACS 2010 EEO Workforce Data Tables

The ACS 2010 EEO/workforce special tabulation serves as the primary external benchmark for comparing the race, ethnicity, and sex composition of an organization's internal workforce, and the analogous external labor market, within a specified geography and job category. The EEO/workforce data are based on a special tabulation of the American Community Survey (ACS) 2010 5-year respondent data. This section reviews subject matter tables. As developed by Census, the EEO special tabulation contains fourteen types of tables with the data organized in delimited structure. Most of the fourteen types of tables are organized into at least two files: one providing data by worksite and one providing data by residence. A summary description of the Census-sourced tables is presented further down on this page

ProximityOne Standardized/Consolidated ACS EEO Record Structure
The ProximityOne Standardized/Consolidated ACS EEO record structure enables easy comparison of subject matter across different tabulation universes presented in the fourteen table types. Structured in dbase, the data are easily integrated into shapefiles for mapping and geospatial analysis. Data records may be easily extracted for specified geography. The same subject matter descriptors are used across all ACS EEO fourteen table types. The data may be extracted for use in any application supporting dbase, fixed-length ASCII text files or CSV/delimited files. Easily integrate internal/non-Census data with the ACS EEO data.

The 48 demographic items -- T01, T02 ... (total); M01, M02 ... (male); F01, F02 ... (female), listed in the consolidated data record layout shown below, enable access to data in all 14 ACS EEO table types. These datasets provide access to the total/comprehensive set of subject matter items estimates included in the ACS EEO tabluation.
